The Great Anniversary Food Challenge
This year marks the 375th anniversary of the founding of Fairfield, and to celebrate, the community has joined together with renewed interest in our unique heritage. With that in mind, the Fairfield 375th Anniversary Committee has created a collection of exciting events and programs that commemorate our town’s rich history and celebrate this historic milestone. While the 375th anniversary of our founding is certainly cause for celebration, it is also an opportunity to give back. One of the most rewarding events of the 375th Celebration is the Food Drive. It is a chance to act together as a town and show that every year we grow increasingly committed to our neighbors. As Food Drive Chair, Judge Dan Caruso says “We are blessed in our community because we are a giving community. It is part of who and what we are.”
Plans are well underway! On April 26 and 27th our town-wide food drive will take place at the Fairfield Ludlowe High School campus starting at 8am. We hope you will come out and be a part of this town wide act of kindness and sharing. Whether you’d like to make a donation, volunteer your time, or simply drop off some canned goods, you can help.
It is our goal for Every Fairfielder to participate in some way:
Thank you for participating. As we celebrate our history and successes this year, this event is an important opportunity to create a brighter future for our entire community.
